Arrival Day
Your journey begins with a warm and seamless welcome. Upon arrival, you’ll be personally greeted at the arrivals area before joining a comfortable group transfer by shuttle or minivan to your hotel. An optional transfer from Athens International Airport to Kalamata is also available for added convenience.
We’ll take care of the details, offering full assistance with your luggage so you can settle in with ease and start enjoying the experience from the very first moment.
Later in the evening we will gather for dinner in a traditional local taverna.
Day 1 — Messinian Gastronomy & Local Products
Begin your day at the vibrant Central Market of Kalamata, where the region’s finest ingredients come to life. Taste authentic local delicacies including Kalamata olives, traditional pasteli, and freshly made lalaggia, while discovering the flavors that define Messinian cuisine.
Continue with a hands-on cooking experience, learning to prepare traditional dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
In the evening, enjoy a refined dinner featuring creative Greek cuisine, where local flavors are reimagined with a modern touch.
Day 2 — Wine Experience in Nemea & Nafplio Exploration
Depart in the morning for the renowned wine region of Nemea. Visit selected wineries for guided tastings of the celebrated Agiorgitiko variety.
Continue to Nafplio, where you’ll explore the charming old town, with views of Palamidi and Bourtzi. Enjoy a leisurely meal at a traditional restaurant, choosing between fresh seafood or creative Mediterranean cuisine, and finish with coffee and dessert in the picturesque streets. In the evening we will head back to Kalamata.
Day 3 — Kyparissia & Traditional Mill Experience
Depart for Kyparissia and step into a slower pace of life with a visit to a traditional watermill. Take part in hands-on activities such as grain milling and discover local products rooted in the region’s agricultural heritage.
Enjoy lunch in the charming old town of Kyparissia, followed by a visit to a small-scale producer to experience the traditional making of organic petimezi. Afterwards we will return to Kalamata.
Day 4 — Honey Tasting & Pairings with Local Products
Immerse yourself in the rich flavors of Messinia through a guided honey tasting experience that reveals the depth and diversity of Greek ecosystems. You’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of honey tasting, exploring the quality characteristics and sensory attributes that make each variety unique.
During the session, you’ll taste five different types of Greek honey, each reflecting distinct floral sources and regional landscapes.
The experience is complemented by thoughtfully selected pairings with local products — such as cheeses, rusks, nuts, and seasonal delicacies — allowing you to discover new flavor combinations and appreciate the harmony between honey and traditional ingredients.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch in the city center of Kalamata, set in a stylish all-day bistro — a relaxed yet refined setting to continue your culinary exploration.
Day 5 — Glyfada Street Art & Traditional Flavors
The experience begins in the unique village of Glyfada, Greece’s only street art village, where art comes vividly to life across the walls and alleys. Here, you will be guided by Skitsofrenis himself, who will share his works in person, revealing the stories, meanings, and inspiration behind each piece.
The journey continues with an authentic traditional experience, where the women of the village prepare handmade pasta in front of you. You’ll enjoy it together with homemade delicacies and local flavors, experiencing genuine Messinian hospitality in a warm and welcoming setting.
A memorable day that beautifully connects contemporary art, living tradition, and the cultural soul of Messinia.
In the evening, we gather for a dinner featuring traditional cuisine.
Day 6 — Kardamyli
Start your day with a relaxed stroll through the stone-built alleys of Old Kardamyli, where quiet streets and timeless architecture create the perfect setting for exploration and photos.
Enjoy a laid-back meal at Lela’s Taverna, offering an authentic, local dining experience in a warm and unpretentious atmosphere.
Departure
After an unforgettable journey, it’s time to say goodbye. Enjoy a relaxed group transfer to the airport of Kalamata, with time to reflect on the experiences and memories made along the way.
For those departing from Athens, an optional transfer to Athens Airport is also available, ensuring a smooth and comfortable end to your trip.

Our booking process is flexible and tailored to you. Once you fill out the above form and submit your enquiry, we will send you the full itinerary and work with you to adjust it based on your fitness level, preferences, and travel style.
To secure your booking, a 30% deposit is required once the final itinerary is agreed upon. The remaining balance is paid closer to your travel date.
